Lightweight Browser from Chrome

Yes, Google Chrome still the best on my view, as the fastest browser I’ve ever use. It’s light weight, and the most feature I like is the bookmark can be sync’d with your Google Account. So where ever you are, when ever you are, you can get your bookmarks sync’d all over your PC’s.

Yogyakarta, a Symbol of Patience and Beauty

I’m sure not many of you ever go to Yogyakarta, or even know it. Yogyakarta is a great place to visit, and very nice place to stay.

For you who don’t know where Yogyakarta is, this is a brief story of this hilarious city.

Yogyakarta is one of the well-known big city in Indonesia. It’s located in Java island, which is the most populated island in the world, and Yogyakarta itself renowned as a center of Javanese culture and classical fine-art. You can find Yogyakarta (or it could be called as Jogja) in map at the most center and the most south of Java island.

You know what, Jogja still maintain it’s cultural tradition from the old times until now. You can still find some cultural festivals, traditional market, and you can find the Sultan’s Palace at the heart of the Jogja city.

Malioboro street is the most populated place at every noon until night. Nearby the street, you can find some traditional food like Bakpia, Fort Vredeburg, a little closer to the south is the Sultan’s Palace and Presidential Palace. When Indonesia declared it’s independence, there was a time when Jogja declared as the Indonesia’s capital city.

Sitting nearby the Merapi mountain, the most active volcano mountain in Indonesia, Jogja now has been declared as Student City, a place where almost all student in all over Indonesia would like to choose Jogja as a good place to study. So you will find there’s so much people from a different ethnic come to this place and study. This warm city offer you a place to loose your stress, everyday seems to be a holiday.

Transportations? Don’t worry, Jogja is a small city with integrated transportation such as train station in Tugu (executive class and business class) and Lempuyangan (economy class), AdiSucipto International Airport, and a TransJogja (Bus Rapid Transit). Although not as good as Singapore in term of transportations, but it’s good enough to go to anywhere.

Fares? I’m not joking, this is the cheapest city in Indonesia. You can find a low-priced hotel around US$5 to the highest price over $200 per night. I event don’t know what is the lowest price for hotels/motels you can find. The Germany tourist I ever talked to, this guy got a hotel with US$ 3 per night nearby Malioboro street. How about food? There’s also so many tasty food to try like pecel (hmmm…. yummy!), or just standard rice, or there’s so much fast food nearby Malioboro too. Price are vary from US$ 0.5 (for pecel or meatball), US$ 3 to US$ 10 for fast food.

Try it!
